Two buildings from Poland: the Małopolska Garden of Arts in Krakow and the Scientific Information Centre and Academic Library in Katowice, have won the Building of the Year 2012 award. The competition was organized by ArchDaily, the most popular website devoted to architecture, which boasts almost 300,000 visitors a day. The Malopolska Garden of Arts triumphed in the cultural building category, while the CINiBA was voted the best library. A total of 70,000 people took part in the vote.
